In a nutshell, ARTIPLAQ™ is a casual, yet refined product taking the place of high cost custom framing. Simple, affordable, and long lasting, the process has 3 basic elements:
1) The highest quality DRYTAC brand adhesive, ARTIPLAQ™ permanently bonds your print, photo or chart to a smooth wood substrate.
2.) Once mounted, your piece is sealed with a UV laminating film to protect it from humidity, and other elements to hinder fading, yellowing or wrinkling.
3.) Each ARTIPLAQ™ is finished with a mitered edge and your choice of 1 of our 15 edge colors. The result is a truly one-of-a-kind art piece just for you.

Hi Everyone!
My name is Patricia Langley and I own and operate ARTIPLAQ™, a New England based business. ARTIPLAQ™ opened its doors in March of 2004. With one change of hands the business started in Portland, ME and recently landed with us in Newburyport, MA. We are so happy to have ARTIPLAQ™ close to home, and we are working to spread the word from coast to coast. As a frame shop owner and previous wholesale customer of ARTIPLAQ™ I have always valued and promoted the product as a polished and affordable alternative to custom framing. It really checks all the boxes… UV coated, no glass, ready to hang. And, best of all, you can’t beat the price! So when I heard the business was being sold, I jumped. A small, but mighty crew was assembled and we got to work. We are loving developing the business and sharing the product. Since opening, we have added 15 edge colors and developed an amazing sample kit for our wholesale partners. We think ARTIPLAQ™ is a fantastic product for kids art, photography, charts, maps, corporate and commercial needs and so much more. Around the shop, AJ is unshaken in the face of any task, always ready to jump in and tackle anything that comes his way. In his free time, AJ enjoys riding dirt bikes. His personal anthem is "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice, and his biggest weakness is fried oreos. His favorite edge color is Hawaiian Koa.
Patricia
Mindset
Around the shop, Patricia helps to create a positive atmosphere wherever she goes. When she is off the clock, she enjoys spending time with horses and believes the perfect day is one that is warm, clear, and calm. Her personal anthem is "Shake It Out" by Florence and the Machine, she has a soft spot for all things dark chocolate. His favorite edge color is Suomi Birch.
Abby
Finesse
With an eye for design and a passion for creativity, Abby brings thoughtful attention to detail to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and crocheting. Her perfect day can be summed up in three words: family, food, and sunshine. Her personal anthem is "Float On" by Modest Mouse. Her favorite edge color is Homestead.
Matthew
The Professor
Matthew brings expertise and a problem-solving mindset to everything he does. In his free time, he enjoys Magic: The Gathering, relaxing with his cats, and the occasional snack. His personal anthem is "Sign of the Southern Cross" by Dio, his kryptonite is Reese’s, and his favorite edge color is Red.
Cooper
Positive Vibes Only
Cooper brings enthusiasm and optimism to the shop, helping to keep things moving with a positive attitude. Outside of work, he enjoys building Gundam models and spending time with friends over good food and drinks. His personal anthem is "Roundabout" by Yes, his kryptonite is a good Italian sub, and his favorite edge color is Sierra Walnut.
